Not All Stains Are Equal
You stain your fence, pergola, shed, or timber cladding and it looks great. The colour is rich, the timber looks refreshed, and the whole property gets a lift.
Then a couple of years later, the colour starts to fade and the timber begins to look grey again.
Why?
Often, it's because the stain is sitting mostly on the surface rather than penetrating into the timber.
AQUAMAX works differently.
Formulated with linseed oil, AQUAMAX penetrates into the timber to help protect it from within. Instead of simply coating the surface, it nourishes and protects the timber fibres, helping the finish last longer and maintain its appearance.
The Cedar Brown colour shown in our latest project is a great example. It brings out the natural character of the timber while providing a warm, rich finish that complements a wide range of outdoor projects.

For the best results, apply two coats. This provides excellent colour coverage and protection while allowing the timber grain to remain visible.
Another benefit is the quick drying time. AQUAMAX is touch dry in around 90 minutes under normal conditions, helping you complete your project faster and spend less time waiting between coats.
Not sure whether Cedar Brown is the right choice? Try a test pot first. Timber can vary considerably in colour and porosity, so testing on the actual surface is the best way to see how the finished result will look.
Once you've chosen your colour, pick up a 4L or 10L pack from your local Mitre 10 and get stuck into your next project.

See how Cedar Brown penetrates the timber, not just the surface.

Do it once. Do it right.
And before you start, make sure you check the weather forecast. Dry conditions and the right temperatures will help you achieve the best possible finish.
