If you're new to outdoor DIY, you've probably looked at a grubby deck or mossy path and wondered, “What do I use to clean this?” That’s where GET-GONE comes in.

MASTERMAX GET GONE:
GET-GONE is a 2-in-1 Fungicidal Treatment and Cleaner, made right here in New Zealand and exclusive to Mitre 10. It’s specially designed to clean and treat outdoor surfaces covered in mould, moss, lichen, and algae – no harsh bleach, no mixing, and no fuss.
Where Can I Use It?
Pretty much anywhere outside! It’s ideal for:
Timber and decks
Concrete driveways and patios
Pavers, painted surfaces, and iron
Brickwork, metal, and terracotta tiles
Even roofs (yes, it’s roof-safe too!)
Two Ways to Use GET-GONE
1. For Paint Prep
: Before using any MASTERMAX paint or stain, you’ll want the surface clean and treated properly. Spray GET-GONE using the built-in hose-end applicator, scrub with a stiff brush while it’s still wet, then rinse off with water. This gives you a great base for long-lasting coatings.
Note: For prepping timber decks, we recommend using our MASTERMAX PREPMAX, which is specially made to open up the wood fibres for better stain adhesion.
2. For General Maintenance
Just spray and leave it. That’s it. No scrubbing needed. GET-GONE works overtime – mould might turn orange first, but nature will take care of the rest after a few good rainfalls.
